A 20-year-old Manchester based singer, songwriter and producer. Freddy Gillmore is one of the most hardworking musicians in the Manchester area right now and is preparing for a big 2023. Freddy learnt jazz at a young age and draws vocal inspiration from the likes of Chet Baker and Amy Winehouse, opting for a dirtier and less traditional jazz vocal.

While he writes music in a band context, he taught himself to produce through making hip-hop beats as a teen and consequently describes his sound as ‘band music produced with a hip-hop ear’. Believing that pop music is reluctant to reflect the pessimism of his generation, Freddy wants to write stories that use big hooks to sneak in a darker attitude and humour.
